Weathering Day 3
So far, the biggest challenge these last 3 days has been making the accompanying videos. I’m not a videographer, nor do I have the equipment to make professional movies. Nonetheless, the process has been a bit of a lark.
As you might imagine, video production takes a lot longer than making and editing the stills. Add to that the fact that I don’t make a lot of videos so those limited skills get rusty, especially under wet conditions. The original plan was to just make the odd video along the way, and that may still turn out to be the case. However, these first 3 have entertained me enough — if no one else — that I’ll likely make a few more.
As I say in the movie, today’s inclement weather convinced me to look for subjects near to home. What could be a better location than the garden my wife and I have laboured on so hard over the last 18 months? That’s where I spent part of the afternoon … after I was sure I had the video clips in the bag. Well, I’ve made it through 10% of this challenge!
