Path plan
In the heat of the summer, we laid a patio. Hydration was an issue. As we move on to building paths the main problem is keeping water at bay, seeing as it has rained nearly every day for the last two months.
Yesterday, I worked into the night and under the rain to finish the steps down to the transition with the (planned) patio-to-deck path. In the light of day, I’m fairly pleased with the result. Much more rock is needed to finish the borders. First, my sinews will have to recover from the abuse of the last few days.

Down the Garden Path
My last garden project took 5 months to complete. This one is going to take much longer.
This post is by way of an alert that, as I slosh about in my slickers, I’m less likely to keep up a regular appearance on this blog. Don’t forsake me though, I’ll clean off my wellies and visit the office, which overlooks the garden, to check out the view and take care of business, including an occasional post. I’ve also got some shoots lined up and I’ll report on those.
I find it much easier to work hard in the cold than enervating heat.
