Office Decor
Sorry about the headline — I have an alliteration infatuation — but a customer contacted me on Monday to express appreciation for the poster featuring my photograph Wooden Roller Coaster, Vancouver, 1986, which she recently purchased.
Sheree Gable (who gave permission to use her name publicly) works in retail management, which itself feels like a roller coaster ride during the Christmas season! 🙂
She even sent me a photo of the poster, framed nicely (she had it dry-mounted under regular glass), hanging on the wall of her office. If that kindness wasn’t enough, she added a review to the product page at my shop.
I must say I like the paint scheme in Sheree’s office. The linen tone pops the poster perfectly (I can’t help it!) and the adjoining wall colour reminds me of the “picture gallery red” I chose for my old studio.
It’s always gratifying to see the posters, printed in vibrant duotone, mounted and displayed with such care. Like other collectors of this image, Sheree says it brings to mind teenage fun at the fair, and simpler times free from care. I’m glad that my photograph could transport her there.
