As noted above, The Heron Rock Bistro — a fantastic spot for fine food, wine and music — will host a show of my documentary photographs, beginning next month, on November 2, with an opening the following Sunday November 8, from 3-5, or thereabouts. There will be music, finger-food and, of course, you can buy a beer, glass of wine, or something stronger!

Images will be drawn from my Eighties Vancouver portfolio, up to recent urban Victoria images, with representations from analogue vintage silver gelatine prints, through film/digital and pure digital photographs. Both urban and wild landscapes will be represented.

Make sure you have a QR code-reader on your smartphone. There’s plenty of free apps available. Photo title cards will include a QR code (like the one on the lower left of the poster above) linking to information on the making of the image and other details.
