Flying the Flag
It was American president George W. Bush, as I recall, who encouraged citizens to not let the terrorists attacks of 9/11 interrupt their shopping. We Canadians are somewhat less patriotic (how many flags do you see on front porches after Canada Day?), though I’d guess we too covet our shopping.
Today, I had to go out to buy ink cartridges for my office printer and ship off some product via courier. It’s a breezy day. Like yesterday, I grabbed this shot on the run … at a shopping plaza festooned in flags representing Canada and merchants who have evidently achieved the status of nationhood.
Maybe I should have my logo printed on polyester. What do you think?
